Sage Grouse vs. Outdoor Recreation

While many of those within the Outdoor Recreational Community are not hunters, this issue is going to have an adverse impact on their recreational opportunities, if the Sage Grouse gets on the Endangered Species List! Your recreation days within the Sage Grouses habitat will be eliminated and or severely restricted to improved roads.

This issue is going to bring out groups that want more wildernesses, groups that want livestock off public lands, anti-hunters, etc. Many of these groups’ individuals do not even live in Idaho and in some cases the West!

If we do not get involved NOW this issue is going to backdoor our ability to recreate in the Sage Grouses habitat.

This is a very serious issue the will have some negative impact on the Outdoor Recreation community so please get involved now.
