Gas Tax Petition

RETURN OFF-ROAD GAS TAX TO IDAHO DEPARTMENT OF PARKS & RECREATION

We, the undersigned residents of Idaho, support the allocation of state gas taxes from fuel that is used off-road in our boats, snowmobiles and off-highway vehicles to the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation for the development and maintenance of recreation facilities. This transfer has occurred for decades. It is the fair and equitable way to fund needed improvements and has benefitted recreational users throughout the state.
